GALAXY SLE® Barrier 4890 – Market-leading low-permeation construction. This hose is used by more OEMs around the globe than any other refrigerant hose construction. Galaxy 4890SLE derives its performance from a proprietary polyamide barrier and exceptional compounding. Compatible with new R1234yf refrigerant.

– Four times the reduction in R134A permeation vs. current Galaxy 4860
– Dimensionally equivalent to Goodyear 4860 hose
– Improved Butyl cover provides significant reduction in moisture ingression
– Incorporates an improved Poly-amide barrier between two elastomeric layers
– Compatible with R134A and most refrigerant blends and compressor lubricants
– Compatible with R1234yf new refrigerant
– Designed to operate in the temperature range of -40 °C to +135 °C (-40 °F to +275 °F)
